About Lunar Anchor Hub
Amelia Brayshaw started Lunar Anchor Hub in 2019 after seven years inside organisations that moved slowly and thought carefully but rarely connected the two. She had run strategy functions at a mid-size logistics firm and before that spent three years as an in-house analyst at a regional infrastructure consultancy. The pattern she kept seeing was the same: smart people, good intentions, and a six-month gap between a decision being needed and a decision being made. She wanted to close that gap.
The name came from a late-night conversation about what good strategy actually does. An anchor holds position without stopping movement. A lunar cycle is short enough to measure but long enough to matter. The practice launched with two clients in the spring of 2019, both referrals from former colleagues. By the end of that first year, Amelia had completed eleven engagements, none longer than six weeks. She learned quickly that the constraint of a short timeline was not a limitation but a feature. Clients made better decisions when they had a deadline.

Amelia Brayshaw spent a decade working inside organisations before starting Lunar Anchor Hub in 2019. She trained in systems thinking and organisational design, and spent several years as a strategy analyst at a regional infrastructure consultancy before moving into an in-house strategy role at a logistics firm. She left to build a practice that could move faster than the organisations she had worked inside. Outside of client work, she runs long distances on weekend mornings and applies the same logic to both: pace is a choice, not a circumstance.
